We’re Dana and Art, and this is Two Wheel Wild.

We’re two normal, middle-aged people who happen to think life is a lot more interesting on two wheels.
Sometimes those two wheels have a motor. Sometimes they require considerably more effort.
We ride motorcycles. We ride bicycles. We camp from both. We’re getting into bike touring and bikepacking. We like long rides, back roads, trails, small towns, and adventures that give us a reason to get out of the house.
We’re not experts at any of it.
We’re just figuring things out as we go—and sharing what we learn along the way.
Motorcycles and bicycles are obviously very different. But we’ve found there’s a lot of overlap, too.
Both can take you places you probably wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. Both make you pay attention to the world around you. Both can turn an ordinary weekend into an adventure.
And both have a funny way of convincing you that you absolutely need more gear.
We share motorcycle rides, cycling, motorcycle camping, bikepacking and touring, training and fitness, gear that actually works for us, things we learn the hard way, and the occasional ridiculous thing that happens along the way.
Right now, one of our big goals is getting ourselves fit enough for bigger cycling adventures. That means actually training instead of just talking about the adventures we’d like to do someday.
We’re documenting that too—the good rides, the hard rides, the mistakes, and whatever happens in between.
Two Wheel Wild isn’t about being the fastest, going the farthest, or pretending we know everything.
It’s about staying curious, staying capable, and being ready to say yes when an adventure comes along.
Because we’re not done doing interesting things.
Not even close.
Adventure is worth training for.
